The Royal Borough of Greenwich is a vibrant and dynamic borough which is home to many diverse communities. However, this diversity also presents challenges and inequalities which need to be addressed to make sure our borough is a place where everyone can succeed and prosper, no matter what your background. We all share an ambition to be a part of the Royal Borough of Greenwich[HE1] [AK2] where every stakeholder is equal, valued and can contribute to developing and improving services for local communities.
The Royal Borough of Greenwich Voice and Influence Charter sets out pledges to increase voice, influence, engagement, and representation within the borough. It also includes several definitions, standards, and ways of working to support these pledges.
We all have a key role in shaping what life is like in the Royal Borough of Greenwich, but we cannot do this alone. We are encouraging groups and organisations, from both the Statutory and Voluntary Sectors, to sign the charter and commit to its pledges so that we can unlock opportunities for all people across our borough.
