G-HIVE Training: Religion and Belief

This workshop aims to introduce participants to the concepts of Religion and Belief equality and diversity in a variety of environments including society, the community and the workplace. Participants will have an opportunity to explore the issues surrounding equality and diversity and apply this awareness to their understanding of their work related roles and responsibilities.

The three-hour workshop will cover the following topics:

  1. Defining “Religion and Belief”
  2. Defining Equality on the grounds of Religion and Belief
  3. What does diversity on the grounds of Religion and Belief look like
  4. Understand the effects of prejudice and discrimination
  5. Understand the ways in which people might choose to describe themselves

METRO GAVS reserves the right to reallocate your place on future trainings if you fail to attend without prior cancellation.
