METRO GAVS provides a wide range of assistance for groups and organisations that work with and/or for children and young people in the Royal Borough of Greenwich. Support includes:
- Infrastructure: We provide one-to-one support for new and developing groups and organisations with governance issues, development of polices, identifying and submitting funding proposals, monitoring, and evaluation, planning and exploring outcomes
- Safeguarding: We provide one-to-one support directly to groups and organisations as well as training and resources our safeguarding work is linked in with local and national partners such as the Greenwich Safeguarding Children's Board and the NSPCC
- Collaboration: We support local collaboration, both between Voluntary Sector groups and organisations, and with Statutory Sector stakeholders, around specific topics by hosting meetings and workshops.
- Representation: We support representation across local strategic partnerships, the Health and Wellbeing Board and the Safeguarding Children's Board
