The Data and Marketing Association (DMA) has issued a letter to the Secretary of State for Science, Innovation, and Technology calling on the government to address a key amendment to the Data (Use and Access) Bill to support charity fundraising.
19 major charities have now backed the DMA's letter to extend the 'soft opt-in' for email marketing to the third sector, which could see an increase in annual donations by £290 million, based on analysis conducted by DMA member Wood for Trees. Read more here.
