G-HIVE Training: Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity

This training will support individuals and organisations to develop awareness of diverse sexual orientations and gender identities. It will provide insight into the challenges these communities can face, as well as equip them with the knowledge, resources, and tools to ensure increased inclusivity for LGBTQ+ individuals.

As a result of this training, participants will improve their consideration of LGBTQ+ identities and terminology, and develop awareness of LGBTQ+ peoples lived experiences, including discrimination, oppression and the impact of these. They will also Identify ways to ensure the inclusion of and safety for LGBTQ+ individuals at both a personal and organisational level, and approach diversity and develop inclusivity in an intersectional and respectful way.
